Payment Schedule and Details

Payments and copays are due every Monday and will be automatically charged through Brightwheel.

  • Insufficient funds or failure to pay on time will result in a $25.00 late fee.

  •  If a balance due remains for over one week, your child may be withdrawn from the program. If, after that, the debt is paid and we have space available, you can re-enroll your child.

  • If you are late in paying your contracted amount more than three times in the program year, your child may be withdrawn from the program.

  • We accept state Child Care Financial Assistance. This program is to support middle and lower income families  where all parents are working and/or in job-training programs. For more information contact your regional  Resource and Referral Center (in Bellows Falls and Saxtons River: 886-5242; in Brattleboro, Dummerston and  Westminster: 257-7852; and in Charlestown: 800-624-9700).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This is a tuition-based program.  The full contracted rate is due for each payment due date, regardless of absences, vacations, holidays, or closing for poor weather.  Families may request one week of vacation time per year, where they will not be charged for a week while the family is away or traveling, however vacation time cannot be applied to illness or absences and must be applied for one week in advance by submitting the “Vacation Request” form.  This service is only available to students who are enrolled full-time.

  • Priority placements go to those enrolled in full-time care.  While we do our best to accommodate part-time hours by honoring requests for specific days, we do not offer half-day accommodations.  Parents are welcome to drop off late or pick up early according to their schedules, however we do not offer discounts for late pick up or early drop off.

  • Questions and communications regarding your enrollment, program fees and other administrative functions should be directed to Katy Emond at putneyplace@gmail.com .

Issues relating to families receiving state Child Care Financial Assistance—

    • If you plan to withdraw your child from the program without completing the form in the appropriate time, the state subsidy program may refuse to pay. If this is the case, you will be billed for the full tuition amount. You can find the Program Withdrawal Form here, please fill it out at least 30 days prior to ending enrollment.

    • If you are late in picking up your child and you are charged a Late Pick Up Fee, state funding cannot be used to  cover those charges; those fees will have to be paid out of pocket.  This also applies to late payment fees.

    •  When your Child Care Financial Assistance application is up for review, please complete the paperwork early. If  your certificate expires you will be responsible for payment.
